2024

I skipped 2023, but this year, 2024, I felt like going for 6  prompts that resonated with me. As I am more and more using analog techniques and especially painting, I wanted to take this opportunity to practice my painting skills with collage elements.  For all the pieces I used acrylic paints as a backdrop. Then, I used oil pastels and cut out painted pieces and ofcourse printed photos of humans from all over the world that intrigued me.

2022

This year 2022, I chose to have a unifying theme in which I beforehand printed out old photos depicting Portugal. Also, I wanted to only make analog collages, using just a few materials. Cardboard, old fashioned postpacking paper, semi transparent chalk paper, yellow thread and a black fineliner. These materials, I was allowed to use. The photos were made mainly by photographer, Artur Pastor and a few by Neal Slavin. These are a selection of my works and under every collage, you see the word that was submitted that day.
